Blood Brothers announce cast for autumn UK tour

Blood Brothers will continue its UK tour after a spring break. The Autumn/Winter leg of its 2022 has announced its casting.

The tour is set to open at Theatre Royal Windsor on 28th July, before visiting Belfast, Perth and Milton Keynes. In addition to, Leeds, Wolverhampton, Sunderland, Stoke and Carlisle. Also visiting, Blackpool, Salford and Liverpool. Finally, Dartford, Aylesbury and Cardiff, where it completes its journey on 3rd December.

Niki Colwell Evans will play the role of Mrs Johnstone, with Richard Munday as the Narrator. Sean Jones as Mickey, Jay Worley as Eddie and Paula Tappenden as Mrs Lyons. Also staring, Tim Churchill as Mr Lyons, Carly Burns as Linda and Timothy Lucas as Sammy. Additionally, Grace Galloway as Donna Marie/ Miss Jones, Jacob Yolland as Postman / Bus Conductor and Josh Capper as the Neighbour. Lastly, Melissa Potts as Brenda, Andy Owens as Perkins and Nick Wilkes as Policeman / Teacher.

Bill Kenwright’s production of Blood Brothers surpassed 10,000 performances in London’s West End, one of only three musicals ever to achieve that milestone.

The show tells the story of two brothers, separated at birth, grow up on opposite sides of the tracks, only to meet again with fateful consequences. It features such numbers as “Marilyn Monroe” and “Tell Me It’s Not True”.

Musical direction for the Autumn run will be by Matt Malone, with sound by Dan Samson. Set and costume by Andy Walmsley and lighting by Nick Richings.
