Casting announced for Philip Pullman’ The book Of Dust -La Belle Sauvage at Bridge Theatre

Full casting has been announced for the upcoming production of The book Of Dust -La Belle Sauvage at Bridge Theatre. The show will run from 2nd December 2021- 19 February 2022. This will be a new stage adaptation by Bryony Lavery.

The cast list include: Julie Atherton, Holly Atkins, Wendy Mae Brown and Pip Carter. As well as, Samuel Creasey, Ella Dacres, Ayesha Dharker and Heather Forster. Also including, Naomi Frederick, Richard James-Neale, John Light, Dearbhla Molloy. Additionally, Tomi Ogbaro, Sid Sagar, Nick Sampson and Sky Yang

The show is about two young people and their dæmons. With everything at stake, they find themselves at the centre of a terrifying manhunt. In their care is a tiny child called Lyra Belacqua, in that child lies the fate of the future. As the waters rise around them, powerful adversaries conspire for mastery of Dust: salvation to some, the source of infinite corruption to others.

The piece is directed by James Cousins and Emily Burns. Design by Bob Crowley, puppetry by Barnaby Dixon and lighting by Jon Clark. Sound is by Paul Arditti and video is by Luke Halls and Zakk Hein. Furthermore music is by Grant Olding, and illusions by Filipe Carvalho.
