Joanne Clifton (Strictly Come Dancing) will star as Morticia Addams in the UK and Ireland tour of The Addams Family.
The Addams Family UK tour will open at Theatre Royal in Nottingham on 5 November 2021. The tour will continue to Cardiff, Sheffield and Milton Keynes. Followed by Birmingham, Edinburgh, Bradford, Newcastle and London. It will then travel to Dartford, Bromley and Hull.
The cast include:
- Joanne Clifton as Morticia
- Cameron Blakely as Gomez Addams
- Scott Paige as Uncle Fester
- Kingsley Morton as Wednesday Addams
- Grant McIntyre as Pugsley Addams
- Valda Aviks as Grandma
- Sean Kingsley as Mal Beineke
- Kara Lane as Alice Beineke
- Ahmed Hamad as Lucas Beineke
- Dickon Gough and Ryan Bennett (sharing the role of Lurch)
Joining the ensemble will be Abigail Brodie, Luke Byrne, Roxanne Couch and Oonagh Cox. They will be joined by Sean Lopeman, Sophie Hutchinson, Matthew Ives and Joshua Robinson.
Creative team
She show will be directed by Matthew White, with choreography by Alistair David. Production design by Diego Pitarch, orchestrations by Richard Beadle and lighting design by Ben Cracknell. Sound design by Richard Brooker and casting by Jane Deitch. The book is by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, with music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa, based on the characters created by Charles Addams.
