Bridgerton star Jonathan Bailey is set to play Fiyero in the upcoming Wicked movies, as confirmed by director Jon M Chu.
Director Jon M Chu said on Twitter: “He’s perfect, they’re perfect. They’d be perfect together. Born to be forever….. I am too excited to pretend this hasn’t been happening. We have a Fiyero!”
Jonathan Bailey will join the previously announced Ariana Grande as Glinda and Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba in the two-part musical film adaptation, which is scheduled for release at Christmas in 2024 and 2025.
Filming is set to begin later this year.
