National Theatre are set to release four productions on amazon prime, from the 11th June 2021 for the UK & Ireland.
Shows include:
Fleabag – The Tragic-comedy Television series written and performed by the wonderful and multitalented, Phoebe Waller-Bridge. Fleabag is based on her one woman show, which was first performed back in 2013.
Hamlet – Benedict Cumberbatch stars in one of Shakespeare’s most influential works, Hamlet. Hamlet is a tragedy, set in Denmark, this play is all about revenge, murder and the monarchy; what’s not to like?
Frankenstein – Benedict Cumberbatch will also be coming to your screen in the 2011 National Theatre Live Frankenstein, alongside Jonny Lee Miller.
Ian McKellen on stage – In this production, Ian McKellen can be seen doing excerpts from roles he has previously played in theatre as well as giving entertainment, stories and more.
A double dose of Cumberbatch coming to prime, if you are a Cumberbatch fan, keep your eyes peeled!
