New family musical Jungle Rumble will run this half term from the 14th – 20th February 2022. The show will be playing at The Fortune Theatre in London’s West End. This new musical features an inspirational message about working together to protect the Earth.
Jungle Rumble Musical will featuring a wonderful line-up of West End performers. The musical will have uplifting songs and thrilling choreography. Moreover, the show tells the story of an ancient elephant named Eeli, a shy zebra named Zella and cheeky monkey named Boo. They journey deep into the heart of the jungle on a fearless expedition to rescue Snow, the last white lion, from the evil Lord Braggard.
Produced by Perform Productions, a drama school founded and run by Lucy Quick and Will Barnett. Perform runs children’s drama classes for ages 4-12 across the UK. Furthermore, Jungle Rumble was written and composed by Will Barnett, the musical ties in with the students’ jungle theme this term. They are bringing stories and songs of the jungle to life on the West End stage.

Staring Sharon Ballard as Eeli, Darren Hart as Cheetah and Michael Lin as Boo. Also including, Carole Stennett as Snow/Ester, Ben Stock as Lord Braggard/Boss, Joy Tan as Zella and Callum Evans as Ensemble.
The Production is directed by Susie McKenna, with choreography by Frank Thompson. In addition to, design by Lotte Collett, lighting by Simisola Majekodunmi and sound by Tom Marshall.
Director Susie McKenna said: “I’m so excited to begin work on Jungle Rumble – and to bring a brand new family show to the West End. I’ve been a huge fan of Will and Lucy’s work so jumped at the chance to work with them on this. Excited too to be teaming up again with Frank Thompson and Lotte Collett (huge contributors to my Hackney Empire pantomimes over the years) and a top-notch cast. Let’s hear the Jungle Roar!”
Jungle Rumble offers a perfect half-term day out for the whole family. It runs from the14th to 20th February at The Fortune Theatre, London (Covent Garden). Shows will run at various times during the day (running time 45 minutes).
