Sister Act the musical has announced its west End casting! The show will be playing at the Eventim Apollo theatre from the 19th July to 28th August 2022. The show will then be heading on a UK tour.

Leading the company will be Beverley Knight as Deloris Van Cartier, with Jennifer Saunders as Mother Superior. Also featuring, Clive Rowe as Eddie Souther, Lizzie Bea as Sister Mary Robert, Keala Settle as Sister Mary Patrick and Lesley Joseph as Mary Lazarus. Sandra Marvin is set to lead the tour as Deloris Van Cartier.
The cast also includes Jeremy Secomb as Curtis Jackson, Graham McDuff as Monsignor O’Hara and Tricia Deighton as Sister Mary Theresa. In addition to, Lori Haley Fox as Sister Mary Martin of Tours, Tom Hopcroft as Joey and Bradley Judge as TJ. Additionally, Tanya Edwards as Tina, Catherine Millsom as Nun/Ensemble, Anne Smith as Nun/Ensemble and Emma Ralston as Nun/Ensemble. Finally, Jermaine Woods as Ensemble, Michael Ward as Swing and Dance Captain and Caroline Bateson Swing.
Joining them are Damian Buhagiar as Pablo, Gabrielle Davina Smith as Michelle and Castell Parker as Clemont. Finishing the cast are, Tanisha Butterfield as Nun/Ensemble, Jamie Jonathan and Marina Tavolieri as off-stage swings.
Sister Act the Musical features music from eight-time Academy Award-winner Alan Menken, lyrics by Glenn Slater and a book by Cheri and Bill Steinkellner. Additional book material by Douglas Carter Beane. The musical has been adapted from the 1992 film of the same name.
Sister Act has direction by Bill Buckhurst, choreography by Alistair David and set and costume design by Morgan Large. More creative team include, wig, hair and make-up design by Sam Cox, lighting design by Tim Mitchell and sound design by Tom Marshall. Musical direction is by Jae Alexander and musical supervision is by Stephen Brooker.
