The Greenhouse Theatre – UK’s First Zero-Waste Theatre!

The first zero-waste pop up theatre is set to open in London! Based in Canary Wharf, The Greenhouse Theatre is set to open on the 23rd of July 2021.

This pop up theatre will be the first of it’s kind, to be a zero-waste theatre. It is made from all recycled materials and reclaimed wood. The Greenhouse Theatre will be based in Jubilee Park from the 23rd of July till the 15th of August.

It is set to host a range of productions and workshops. The line up includes: Hjem by Harry Server, Henry Roberts’ 12 and As You Like It. The venue is set to hold between 30 and 55 people and shows will be on a pay what you can basis. In addition to their main shows, their will be an additional schedule of events and education.

However, this is not The Greenhouse Theatre’s first appearance, previously the venue’s first appearance was at Edinburgh Fringe in 2019.
