The full cast list has been announced for the upcoming production of The Shark Is Broken. The show will be at the Ambassadors Theatre in London’s West End from the 9th October 2021-15th January 2022.
The cast list include: Ian Shaw, who will star as his father Robert Shaw in the original Jaws movie. He will be joined by Liam Murray Scott as Richard Dreyfuss (reprising the role he performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2019), and Demetri Goritsas (ear for eye, Royal Court; Black Mirror, Netflix) as Roy Scheider.
The production is set during the filming of Jaws (1975). The story follows the actors who are stranded in the Atlantic Ocean on a boat. With all the behind-the-scenes drama and mechanical carnivorous co-star.
The Shark is Broken is co-written by Ian Shaw and Joseph NixonIt. It has direction by Guy Masterson, with set and costume by Duncan Henderson. Lighting by Jon Clark, sound and music by Adam Cork and video by Nina Dunn. Casting is by Julia Horan CDG.
