Wicked celebrates its 16th birthday in the West End!

Happy 16th Birthday to Wicked in the West End!

The show plays at London’s Apollo Victoria Theatre and has just announced its booking extension, with 500,000 new tickets that are now on public sale for all performances until 26 November 2023.

The London production recently welcomed its 11millionth theatregoer, and is now the ninth longest-running West End musical in history. It celebrated its 6,000th West End performance in July.

Wicked currently stars Lucie Jones as Elphaba, Helen Woolf as Glinda, Ryan Reid as Fiyero and Sophie-Louise Dann as Madame Morrible. Also staring is Gary Wilmot as The Wizard (until 16 October 2022), Mark Curry as The Wizard (from 18 October 2022), Carina Gillespie as Nessarose and Nicholas McLean as Boq. Additionally, Simeon Truby as Doctor Dillamond, Amy Webb (Standby for Elphaba), and Lisa-Anne Wood (Standby for Glinda).

Completing the cast are Yuki Abe, Kofi Aidoo-Appiah, Meg Astin, Alishia-Marie Blake and Pàje Campbell. In addition to, Michael Colbourne, Fergus Dale, Nolan Edwards, Nicola Espallardo and Danny Fogarty. Furthermore, Laura Harrison, Amie Hibbert, Lucie Horsfall, Samuel How and Christian Knight. Additionally, Nick Len, Jasmine Leung, Maggie Lynne, Rhidian Marc and PaddyJoe Martin. More cast include, Jessica-Alice McCluskey, Stacey McGuire, Harry Mills, Lewis Newton and Natalie Spriggs. Lastly, Samantha Thomas, Joe Thompson-Oubari and James Titchener.

The Wicked cast is subject to change from 7 March 2023.
