Initial casting has been announced for the upcoming world premiere of The Osmonds: A New Musical. The production will premiere at Curve, Leicester in February 2022. The show will then embark on a UK & Ireland tour.
The cast list include: Ryan Anderson as Merrill Osmond and Jamie Chatterton as Alan Osmond. Also featuring Alex Lodge as Jay Osmond, Danny Nattrass as Wayne Osmond and Joseph Peacock as Donny Osmond.
The Osmonds: A new musical tells the official story from Jay Osmond about the five brothers from Utah who were pushed into the spotlight as children. The Osmonds then went on to sell over 100 million records worldwide.
The production has a story by Jay Osmond and book by Julian Bigg and Shaun Kerrison. The musical will be directed by Kerrison, with choreography and musical staging by Bill Deamer. Furthermore, The set and costume design is by Lucy Osborne, with lighting design by Ben Cracknell and sound design by Dan Samson.
The new musical will feature chart topping hits including: Love Me For A Reason, Crazy Horses and Let Me In. Also featuring Puppy Love, One Bad Apple, Long Haired Lover From Liverpool and many more.
