West End and TV star Chelsea Halfpenny (Emmerdale, 9 to 5 The Musical). She will be staring in the lead role as Jenna!
Chelsea Halfpenny will be taking over the role from Lucie Jones, who’s final performance will be on the 4th December 2021. Concluding at Regent’s Theatre in Stoke. Lucie Jones is set to leave the production to move on to a soon to be announced new project.
Halfpenny‘s first performance in the iconic role will be on the 10th January 2022 at Royal & Derngate, Northampton. Waitress UK Tour will then continue through to the 20th August with more dates to be confirmed.
The touring production also stars Sandra Marvin as Becky, Evelyn Hoskins as Dawn and Matt Willis as Dr Pomatter. In addition to George Crawford as Ogie, Tamlyn Henderson as Earl and Christopher D. Hunt as Cal.
Completing the cast are Monique Ashe-Palmer, Amelia Atherton and Donal Brennan. Also including Aimée Fisher, Nathanael Landskroner, Charlie Martin and Liam McHugh. In addition to Olivia Mitchell and Ben Morris.
Waitress UK Tour features an all-female creative team including music by Sara Bareilles. A book written by Jessie Nelson. Direction is by Diane Paulus and choreography is by Lorin Latarro.
