Janette Manrara is taking over as Co-host of It Takes Two. BBC It Takes Two is the weekly spin off show of the popular Saturday night’s Strictly Come Dancing. The couples are interviewed about their time on strictly, we take a look behind the scenes at rehearsals, costumes, hair and makeup, etc… and of course they bring you all the backstage gossip!
It was announced recently that presenters, Zoe Ball and Ian Waite were both leaving the programme. So that left viewers with one question, who would be replacing them on the show?
Alongside Rylan, Janette Manrara will now co-host the show. Janette is going from interviewee to interviewer as she swaps dancing for presenting. So unfortunately, this does mean that Janette will no longer be a part of the main strictly come dancing programme! However we are sure she will bring her passion for dance, her personality and her dance skills to It Takes Two!
Janette Manrara excitedly announced the news yesterday evening and this is what she had to say about her new role:
We wish Janette the best of luck on her new presenting role, it is a 10 from us!
‘I think the hardest thing for me to come to terms with was realising I won’t be a professional on the show’. She then went on to say, ‘When I first walked on the show, I realised it was my dream job. I love to talk and what is better than talking about dance and how happy it makes people’.
