A brand new production of 42nd Street has been announced! The show will be touring the UK opening at Curve, Leicester on 17 May 2023. The show will then head to Sadler’s Wells from 7 June 2023, with touring dates to be announced soon.
Directed by Jonathan Church (The Drifters Girl) the show has choreography and design by Bill Deamer and Rob Jones. Casting and full creative team will be announced in due course.
42nd Street has music by Harry Warren, lyrics by Al Dubin, and book by Michael Stewart and Mark Bramble, and is based on the novel by Bradford Ropes.
The production features some iconic songs such as: “We’re In The Money” and “Lullaby of Broadway” and follows the rehearsal process of a broadway show being put on during the height of the great depression.
