Shrek the musical has announced tour dates for its UK & Ireland tour!
The tour will open at Plymouth on the 21st July 2023.
More tour dates announced are: Manchester (1st to 12th August), Dublin (15th to 20th August) and Bristol (22nd to 27th August). Then on to Southend (29th August to 2nd September), Carlisle (5th to 10th September) and Aberdeen (12th to 16th September). Also visiting, Oxford (19th to 24th September), Wimbledon (26th to 30th September) and Dartford (2nd to 7th October). In addition to, Northampton (10th to 15th October), Bradford (24th to 28th October) & Woking (30thOctober to 4th November). The tour will then go to Eastbourne (13th to 18th November), Cardiff (20th to 25th November), York (27th November to 2nd December) and Blackpool (12th to 30th December). Further dates are to be revealed.

Creative team for Shrek the musical
A new production of the show will be directed by Sam Holmes and Nick Winston, with Winston set to choreograph. It also has set and costume design by Philip Witcomb. Additional creative team members to be revealed.
It has a book and lyrics by David Lindsay-Abaire and music by Jeanine Tesori. It is based on the William Steig‘s children’s book and the Oscar-winning DreamWorks film.
Shrek The Musical was first seen on Broadway 14 years ago, with a West End opening following in 2011. The UK tour will begin July 2023.
