UK premiere of Disney’s Newsies priority tickets go on-sale from 10am on 15th June. Tickets will go on sale to the public at 10am on 16th June 2022. The show will make its UK debut at London’s Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre from the 29th November 2022.
The musical, which follows a group of early 19th-century newsboys who go on strike after a newspaper magnate tries to exploit them, was first seen on Broadway in 2012, where it received two Tony Awards.
The creative team for the show include: Music is by Alan Menken, lyrics is by Jack Feldman and a book by Harvey Fierstein.
Disney’s Newsies has direction and choreography by Matt Cole, with set design by Morgan Large. Additionally, musical supervision, dance arrangements & musical direction is by Nigel Lilley and costumes is by Natalie Pryce. More creative team include, lighting design by Mark Henderson, and sound design by Tony Gayle.
The production is produced by Tristan Baker and Charlie Parsons for Runaway Entertainment. In addition to, Gavin Kalin, Hunter Arnold, Kater Gordon and Dianne Roberts, by permission of Disney Theatrical Productions.
Casting for the show is to be announced soon.
Tickets will go on sale to the public at 10am on 16th June.
