Singin' in the Rain Announces Cast for 2022 UK Tour

The full cast list for the upcoming UK tour of Jonathan Church’s production of Singin’ in the Rain has been revealed.

Leading the tour will be Sam Lips as Don Lockwood, Charlotte Gooch as aspiring actress Kathy Selden, Ross McLaren as Cosmo Brown and Jenny Gayner as Lina Lamont.

Throughout the UK tour the show will have special guest appearances at selected dates.

  • Faye Tozer (Steps and stage star) will play Lina Lamont in Canterbury, Woking, Milton Keynes, Edinburgh and Newcastle
  • Kevin Clifton (Strictly come dancing) will play Cosmo Brown in Bristol, Cardiff, Southampton, Liverpool and Glasgow.
  • Adam Cooper (Swan Lake) will play Don Lockwood in Woking, Manchester, Glasgow and Plymouth

Further casting includes Sandra Dickinson, who will play Dora Bailey, Michael Matus as Roscoe Dexter and Imogen Brooke as Zelda Zanders. The ensemble features Briana Craig, Alastair Crosswell, Lavinia Fitzpatrick and Alex Given. Also including Ryan Gover, Ashleigh Graham, Thomas Inge and Robin Kent. In addition to, Joshua Lovell, George Lyons, Amonik Melaco and Ashleigh Morris. As well as, Peter Nash, Dale Rapley, Molly Rees-Howe and Harriet Samuel-Gray. Lastly, Heather Scott-Martin, Megan Speirs, Ben Whitnall, and Ellie May Wilson.

Singin’ in the Rain UK tour opens at Canterbury’s Marlowe Theatre on the 17th March 2022. The show will then visit Woking, Southend, Milton Keynes and Edinburgh. Then on to, Newcastle, Manchester, Bristol and Cardiff. Also touring to Dublin, Birmingham, Southampton and Liverpool. Before coming to London, Nottingham, Bradford and Sheffield. Finally visiting, Aberdeen, Glasgow, and Plymouth.

The show has direction by Jonathan Church, with choreography by Andrew Wright, design by Simon Higlett and lighting by Tim Mitchell.
