The Addams Family UK tour will no longer be visiting its final four venues in Eastbourne, Oxford, Edinburgh and Aberdeen. It will close at Norwich Theatre Royal on the 30th April, after dates in Truro and Manchester.
The UK tour opened last year in 2021 after being postponed numerous times due to the pandemic. The show was led by Joanne Clifton (Morticia Addams) and Cameron Blakely (Gomez Addams). Additionally, Scott Paige (Uncle Fester) and Kingsley Morton (Wednesday Addams).
The production, directed by Matthew White with choreography by Alistair David. In addition to production design by Diego Pitarch, orchestrations by Richard Beadle and lighting design by Ben Cracknell. Also including sound design by Richard Brooker, musical direction by Bob Broad and casting by Jane Deitch.
The show stated: “Due to the continued impact of the effects of Covid on our audiences and their willingness to return to the theatres, we have unfortunately had to take the decision to close the tour of The Addams Family earlier than planned.”
