The Woman in Black West End has announced new casting at The Fortune Theatre, London. The show will be celebrating it’s 33rd anniversary in the West End next month!

From 7th June, Julian Fosyth will return to the role of Arthur Kipps, having previously starred in the production in 2010 and 2014. Along with Matthew Spencer who will reprise the role of The Actor from both in London and on tour.

Stephen Mallatratt’s adaptation of Susan Hill’s best-selling novel tells the story of a lawyer obsessed with a curse. He believes the curse cast over him and his family is by the spectre of a Woman in Black. Engaging a sceptical young actor to help him tell his terrifying story and exorcise the fear that grips his soul. It all begins innocently enough, but then, as they reach further into his darkest memories, they find themselves caught up in a world of eerie marshes and moaning winds.

The Woman in Black has direction by Robin Herford, with design by Michael Holt and lighting design by Kevin Sleep.
