Stranger Things the stage show will be opening at the Phoenix Theatre with previews on 17 November 2023 – with an official press night on 14 December 2023.
Based on an original story by the Duffer Brothers, the stage adaptation of hit Netflix TV series Stranger Things will be set in 1959 with characters including a young Jim Hopper, Joyce Maldonado, Bob Newby and Henry Creel.
General booking opens on 30 March (with priority booking from 28 March). Tickets can be booked from just £20, with over 500 seats each week at £20 or under. A weekly lottery for late-release tickets will be announced closer to first performance.
Stranger Things: The First Shadow has set design by Miriam Buether, with costumes by Brigitte Reiffenstuel, lighting by Jon Clark, sound by Paul Arditti, illusions & visual effects by Jamie Harrison & Chris Fisher, video & visual effects by 59 Productions, movement direction by Coral Messam, and casting by Charlotte Sutton CDG, with further creative team members to be announced.
