Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs

Snow White Pantomime New Wimbledon Theatre
Written by Milly

On Sunday the 5th of December I took a trip to Pantoland to watch Snow White and the Seven dwarfs at Wimbledon theatre starring Hannah Lowther, Dick and Dom, Ruthie Henshall, Brenda Edwards and many more.

About the show

The show follows the traditional story of Snow White and the seven dwarfs including some songs from the original Disney film however of course it wouldn’t be panto without a few twists and turns along the way making it extremely interactive and entertaining for children.

Cast

Throughout the show the cast never failed to astound me as they were all so incredibly talented , one particular member of the cast who blew me away was Hannah Lowther; who played the role of Snow White I was extremely impressed with her acting skills throughout the show and her amazing vocal range throughout all the songs.

Two cast members that really made me laugh throughout the show were Dick and Dom as they work so well together , the relationship they have with each-other really helps to bring the show together to create a funny and lively atmosphere , they used typical panto lines while adding their own twists to make the show interactive and exciting for the younger members of the audience watching.

Another cast member that particularly caught my eye was Ruthie Henshall who used her acting skills to portray the role of the evil queen her vocal skills helped to create a miserable tone to show her annoyance towards the other characters as she wasn’t the fairest in the land. Overall the cast were phenomenal and so incredibly talented I highly recommend going to see them if you can as it is just wonderful.

Overall

My overall thoughts of this show are that it is extremely interactive making it a brilliant show for a younger audience as many shows these days are targeted at an older audience however this show really does share some Christmas magic for children. I highly recommend going to see this show before it closes on the 31st of December as it truly is magical and definitely worth 5 stars.
